What does sustainability mean to us?
Our mission is to support people on their path to better health, mobility and quality of life. Responsible action is at the heart of everything we do. At VITREA, this includes not only excellent medical and therapeutic quality, but also the careful use of resources, protection of the climate and environment, and respect for human rights.
Our sustainability concept provides the strategic framework for systematically embedding sustainability into our daily actions. It provides orientation, creates clarity, and guides our conduct across all levels of our rehabilitation and healthcare facilities.
We focus on five principles.

Our goal is to continuously minimise the CO₂ footprint of our sites and actively contribute to climate and environmental protection. We continuously work on using energy efficiently, optimising water consumption and employing materials sustainably. Sustainability for us is not just technical measures: we raise awareness among employees and patients about responsible resource use and promote environmentally friendly behaviour in everyday life.
